Interesting, since we just had a "performance" of Ligeti's Poeme symphonique at the Pulitzer Foundation a few weeks ago, or perhaps, to take a cue from the Reduced Shakespeare Company, the complete Poeme symphonique (abridged), since the SLSO was able to rustle up just 59 metronomes. (Although 59 still ain't bad.)
